What doesn't make sense to me about the ending is the fact that Sara was successfully able to burn the corps, shouldn't have that destroyed Desjardins' soul and expelled him out of both Deborah's and Cara's body?. I mean this was the whole point of burning the corps/bones. So, how the hell did his spirit survive and attach itself to Cara in the end?!. That was a fatal plot hole.

I wish we had more visual horror like the snake swallowing scene in movies. I love weird, deformed and creepy looking things, but they always get like 2 sec of screen time in movies used as a prop more than an actual character appearance.

The fact that Deb was smiling after biting the child and the child's words make me think that she isn't gonna grow up to be like Deb, but that she is already the reincarnation of the spirit, with it's plans for old age being to do it all again to have another life after this one.
